Gratitude and Self Appreciation

Well I accomplished my first Blab last night with my “work wife” Vanessa Coppes and good friend Susan Vernicek, CEO of Identity Magazine. I think it went awesome! In the end of the call Susan asked us to answer 1 or all of these questions.

What do you Accept about yourself right now? I think I accept who I am as a person right now more than I ever have in my life. I also accept that where I am right now is exactly where I am supposed to be. God put me in front of women I can mentor and guide for a reason, so I am happy fulfilling my purpose!

What do you Appreciate? I have to say I am the most grateful for and appreciative of all the women I meet that put their faith in me to guide them. I appreciate the fact I have the ability to learn and grow more every single day so I can share it with these amazing ladies. I appreciate my business partner for being who she is and for all the gifts she is able to share as well.

What Accomplishment are you most proud of right now?   In the present I am most proud of our group, The Entrepreneurial Think Tank, as a whole for how much we have grown and for how far we have come. Our greatest achievement as a team is our annual Power Of Connections conference. I learn just as much each year from our guest speakers as our attendees do. We are all put in front of these accomplished ladies each year who all share the same goal, which is to empower women.

When I went to bed last night I couldn’t help but think about all these things I just shared with you. I was blessed with these connections because I was out there and openly looking for like minded women I could connect and build relationships with. You have to be open to that as an entrepreneur in order to grow your business.

The faster you accept and take ownership for the person you are, the faster other’s can accept you. It is o.k. to pat yourself on the back and be proud of your accomplishments in life. You earned it. Unfortunately we sometimes feel that we are bragging so we wait and hope other people will brag about us. The truth is, you don’t have to wait. You may wait forever. Talk about what you have done and what you can do and even your plans for the future! Be proud of it and own it.

I know my partner and I, along with all the fabulous ladies we work with, can help many women as long as we collaborate and work together. Remember, there is no I in TEAM. Together we achieve more!

What is the one thing you are most proud of right now?
